Clafoutis Grandmère à la Virginia Woolf

My friend found this genius recipe and she decided to try it out, and it just turned out wonderful. Not only this is a very traditional French pastry (which fits perfectly as a closure for my French week), but also it is introduced in a book "Kafka's Soup". This is a bestseller cooking book that tells recipes in styles of very famous writers, in this case, Virginia Woolf. I can't wait to get my hands on it! This is, I think, a stylish "Au revoir!" to our French cooking week! :)

You can find the recipe here! Special thanks to Fanni Petrák.

à table!

If you are searching for quality French bread and pastry, or just want to eat a real croissant with a cup of coffee on a cold morning, then à table! is the right place for you! This charming artisan bakery for me has now become the king of all pastry shops in Budapest. And to make us gastro-geeks happier, à table! has just opened a new boulangerie- patisserie in the city center of Pest, in Arany János utca (which is, by the way, less than 5 minutes from Pomo D'Oro). Let us take a look at the amazing supply of à table!'s baked goods!
